1. SOCIAL WORKER OF THE YEAR: An individual considered for this award should demonstrate exceptional qualities that make her/him or her stand out beyond the expectations of her/his job.
2. LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: This award recognizes a social worker who has consistently demonstrated throughout their life, a pattern of outstanding achievements on behalf of clients and the profession of social work.
3. CITIZEN OF THE YEAR: This award recognizes an individual in the community who has worked tirelessly to provide services for those less fortunate, shown true leadership skills, and demonstrated an ability to inspire and move others to action for the greater good.
4. NEWS MEDIUM OF THE YEAR: A news resource that serves the community's best interest by highlighting issues of social concern.
5. SOCIAL WORK GRADUATE STUDENT OF THE YEAR: A graduate student who is already identified as someone who shows leadership qualities, and promotes excellence in the field.
6. SOCIAL WORK UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT OF THE YEAR: This award recognizes a social work undergraduate student whoshows promise as someone who will become a beacon in the field.
